Ditter History by Anthony L. Ditter - June 5, 1957. John the 4th and youngest son was born in Minnesota and in 1887 he went to Yakima Wash where he started a grocery store and later became outstandingin groceries, delicatessen, restaurant and bakery. He retired prior to WWII and lived in Bainbridge Island Wash. where he died in 1952.
